Send two face images, and FACE-COM returns a similarity from 0 to 1 that indicates how likely they are the same person. It is typically used to compare an ID portrait with a selfie.
  • It does not decide whether the faces match. You set the threshold for treating them as the same person using similarity.score.
  • A low similarity is still a result, so it is billed.
  • If no face is found in either image, the call returns 502 FACE_NOT_DETECTED and is not billed.

Notes

  • If the call returns 502 FACE_NOT_DETECTED, message names the image with no face: originFace or targetFace. Recapture that image.

Billing

The billing unit is compare, and each call has a count of 1.
