# GC-KOR-DRV

> Checks whether the name, date of birth, license number, and serial number on a Korean driver's license match the records of the Korean National Police Agency.

Checks whether the name, date of birth, license number, and serial number on a Korean driver's license match the records of the Korean National Police Agency. Because the serial number is also checked, both the electronic record and the physical license are verified.

* Once the source answers, the call is billed whatever the verdict. Calls that do not produce a verdict return `4xx` or `5xx` and are not billed.
* The source can take 5–12 seconds to respond. Set a generous client timeout.

Values can be added to `verdict` and `verdictReason`. [Reading verdicts](https://developers.argosidentity.com/en/idcheck/unit-api/overview.md#reading-verdicts)

## Billing

The billing unit is `response`, and each call has a `count` of 1. `MISMATCH` is also billed.
